Wow. This one is a treasure. Read it full and hats off to Ian Ozsvald. I'm a strong fan of screencasting, and as such, this was a treat for me. Yes. Ian's powerful passion is evident from the sharp and focussed answers he gave. He loves what he does and is inspired the good spirit that he wants more of us to be there than, frighten us with insanely-high-requirements that intends to keep others from doing pretty screencasts. That is enough and more to depict his PROFESSIONALISM. Also, I appreciate and thanks Ian for offering voluntary feedback on screencasts. This is indeed, what pulls me back on updating to WP 2.7 ! I'll just wait for some more time, till everything settles down. :P Give the coders and designers some breathing space to update their works; after all, isn't on mutual understanding and cooperation that the web runs. :) Now, I'm taking a short cut way to ensure that my theme is compliant: Mayank, is the BT-Evolution theme WP 2.7 OK ???!!!! :P

I'm using that already and I think many are doing it already. It's quite an established plugin. The fact that you'll get direct access to your feed management area is great. I was tired of having to login to FeedBurner everytime I visited. The "remember me" option never worked for me. Also, I dunno why, the whole FeedBurner site gives me a feeling of incompleteness or a feeling that "something is gonna' happen next moment" :P :P !! I know, I've got weird associations with design, faces and music.

I give much importance to this and keeps less widgets. The AD codes you have on pages are usually Javascripts and add to the load. But, unfortunately, there's no way around. IMO, the BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog widgets won't be worth the load they put on your pages, if you aren't planning to concentrate on them. Even, in that case, just stick to any one of those.
