As much as the $20 billion shakedown disgusts me, I don't find it much of a stretch to think that BP and the obama administration are co-conspirators. After all, it has been said that BP practically wrote the cap and trade bill, and they have been leaning hard "Green" since forever. The $20 billion gives the obama another nice sized slush fund, and with a wink and a nod, BP will be in the top position to reap the rewards of the new wind mill generation. Holly, I'm born, raised and have lived in Pa. all my 60 years. Well, except for approx 10 years split between NJ and Md. I don't concider myself expert about anything, but I do have an opinion on your query. There is an abundance of "old money" here. "Blue bloods" if you will. Even the towns here in the east drip with European sounding names.Their heirs haven't actually had to work for a living for generations.These original elites have sent their children to all the finest private schools and Ivy League Universities since their beginnings. The sheer number of elitist lawyers spawned by the blue bloods and the universities, in my opinion, is probably huge. These aren't the lawyers that help you write a will or defend you in traffic court, they are the ones that tend to congregate around DC and New York where the big money is.
