She's smart; she's qualified; she's the choice of the elected president. She'll be a centrist; probably to the right of both Sotomayor and Ginsberg.

If anyone on this site has a shred of intellectual honesty, then we must admit that the very worst Justice on the Bench is Clarence Thomas. He does not think; he does not ruminate; his sole purpose is to reshape the law to conform to far-right orthodoxy, regardless of settled law or precedent. The cries of "strict constitutionality" are BS; he's a political hack in a black robe. Seeing him on the bench makes every other justice look as sharp as Earl Warren. He'll make Kagan look like another Brandeis.

Breitbarters: the Republican Party of the Party's glory days was driven by ideas, and had the confidence to craft laws that made the country better for everyone. We need to think honestly again.

Ugh. Toxic mess of hate. Thank you, Breitbart posters, for confirming that the right wing is every bit as racist as the MSM reported.

This white, long-married, wealthy, successful male father looks forward to the day when fearful, angry hatemongers find something better to do with their time.

Yo, Breitbart readers: I've read through this whole thread three times, and other than a couple non-right-wing posters like me, it's nothing but "I hate f*gs, I hate f*gs, I hate f*gs." No racists here? Bull

As long as you're goose-stepping forward under the big red flag of hate, you're never going to win over anything more than the 15% of the country you've got on your side. This November? It ain't gonna be a sweep. Maybe a handful of Teafolk will win; most will lose. The majority of Americans don't want to elect people who are selling nothing but hate.

The fact is, until you can learn to be motivated by something other than hatred of people who are different, you'll be nothing but a scary fringe.

Wow. So much hatred of people who adhere to the muslim faith. Particularly when they express purpose of this community center is "interfaith outreach". There's no racism among the good people of Breitbart-land, but there sure is plenty of xenophobia.

Sadly, there is still a vocal minority in this country that perceives racial bias in everything. The group can best be called "the Defenders of Andrew Breitbart."

Breitbart doesn't do the Truth any service with his editing. Judging from the content management on this site, his agenda is to paint the NAACP as a racist organization. When that extends to editing a story about personal growth and evolution, into a brief clip about one's personal failings before that evolution -- well, it's dishonest, sleazy, and unethical. Same goes for selective editing on the Left.

As a country, we're not going to fix our problems until we stop treating fellow Americans with different political beliefs as some sort of mortal enemy.

claspur, the "Illegitimate President" argument is a tired one, and the harder you pick at it, the more you come across like one of the xenophobes who aren't supposed to represent the Tea Party movement. If the readers of Breitbart expect to be taken seriously at the policy table, then talk policy; not conspiracy theory and ethnicity.

President Soetoro? Biden is right, the Tea Party is not a racist organization. But every time someone on this site pulls out a playground nickname like that, you give fuel to people who say that the movement has got some xenophobes in its ranks.
