Resale could be handled pretty easily, I think. Since the CD key would be linked to the gamertag, when someone sells the CD to Gamestop or any reseller (or at their own garage sale) they would just unlink when they sold it. Once someone unlinks their Gamertag, the game is automatically deleted. If someone wanted to cheat the system and not unlink their key, when someone else purchases the original copy and pops it in to install to HDD, they put in the key. This will automatically unlink the other person's right to play the game.
