So, what Cockley is essentially saying is that she supports lack of freedom and Obama is going to campaign for this woman? Cockley must lose this race and the rest of Congress should too.

Sorry, I have to disagree. I don't think there is a problem. It's a group of people who are tired of the garbage that's been representing us in Congress, local as well as national. These Tea Parties are based on educating and networking and principals. I've met so many good people through the tea parties and we're currently planning a local conservative phonebook so we can learn about conservative owned businesses in our neck of the woods. This will strengthen the Conservative community. We will also meet, discuss topics, take over our local committee chairs and then take over the party. Whether we lose or not is irrelevant in the near future but make sure that you all know, we are coming and you can't stop us.

We have to have the guts to lose in order to prove our point. I think the New York 23 race represented the power of the Tea Party beautifully and I'm sure that the Republican party is going to listen to us more than they used to. If they don't, it will be their fault and their doom.. The Tea Party goal is to regain control of our representatives. If we vote to win without sticking to our principals, we'll only continue our current predicament which is exactly what got us in this mess. Stay strong and stay away from third party solutions, pay attention to local as well as national news and lets take our party back but this time, lets keep it!

I deleted Law and Order and SUV from my DVR the night that I saw that garbage. The whole episode, it insulted my intelligence with idiotic stereotypes of Conservatives. They portrayed them as gun slinging mindless idiots. The whole episode was spent ripping on Conservatives and then at the end, it ends up the guy wasn't a conservative. He killed the children and whispered to John Laroket (sp) that he couldn't wait to kill the other anchor babies. So, in the end, they can claim that they didn't make the conservative the bad guy but spent the hour making them look like idiots.

I've had enough! Law and Order also had a Conservative rip fest as well and then there was Bones, and I feel it coming to House as well. Pretty soon, I will just switch to books.

Isn't it a shame that you have to explain this video to them. Shouldn't they just understand the irony of the peacenik getting shot? I just don't understand why it's so difficult to comprehend that we live in a violent world and you need to be able to defend ourselves and to defeat our enemies without persecuting your own navy seals for giving someone a puffy lip. I have a great idea! Lets take guns away from all the law abiding citizens and force them to depend on a police force that will only do something after you are shot. Sounds like a terrible plan to me! I'd rather have them come to my home to pick up the intruders dead body.

Our founders were against war unless absolutely necessary and Thomas Jefferson sent our navy and marines to the shores of Tripoli to defeat pirates who happen to be the same enemy that we are fighting today. They made sure we were prepared and they confronted our enemies when we needed to. So which monsters are we looking for right now? The Taliban and Al Quaeda who attacked us. Not sure why you think we are creating targets. Do you not remember 911?

The gulf war in 1990 was not called off, it was postponed by a truce with conditions. Iraq broke 17 of them which breaks the truce and brings us back to war. So it was a necessary war whether you think it was or not. We should have finished the job in the 90s but since Clinton didn't pay attention, they went back to their old tricks and after 911, President Bush didn't want to take any chances. His perspective changed after we were attacked for the second time in history since our founding. But you would just deal with it and get attacked again and again. I bet the play ground bully got your lunch money every day.

Other than ending Slavery, Fascism, Nazism, communism and ending repression and persecution from England, War has never solved a thing!
