Whatever democracy they expect, they'll be in for a bitter surprise if they allow the Muslim Brotherhood to shape their government. It'll be the proverbial case of "out of the frying pan; into the fire". Look for freedom loving, Egyptian rioters seeking escape from their country after a few years of life under the Brotherhood.

The fear is that the GOP will turn that spigot of government waste off and force Obama's union buddies and assorted comrades in arms to beg elsewhere for their subsidies.

I guess Rahm thinks it's too dangerous to allow individuals greater freedom and control of their means and their lives. After all, we're not all Harvard/Ivy league educated like they are. And because they're smarter than us, they know what's best for us.

You're partly right. It is sad that many of the kids who go to our universities become our country's leaders (I give you that Harvard educated, community organizer as an example) The fact that so many of these students are DEMANDING public funding for their education demonstrates the entrenched socialist mindset of our education system. I can tell you that if universities had been operating under a capitalist system, costs would be nowhere near where they are today. I can also tell you that a good plumber or electrician has more to contribute to my quality of life than a PhD in ethnic diversity. Not only that, they're the ones who actually generate the income to provide the taxes to fund those ethnic diversity programs these kids are DEMANDING that we pay for.

See folks? This is the difference between touchy-feely liberals who "care" about the poor, the environment, the polar bears and decent conservatives who value all life. Their inability to differentiate the person from his policy is what caused them to believe anyone voting against Obama was a racist. Look elsewhere for reason and logic.
