Because who really needs the fourth amendment, right?

Wait, what? You automatically jump to 'paulbot'?

I don't like Paul, either - but he's irrelevant at this point, so I didn't mention him. Same deal with Gingrich. But hey, keep on putting words in other people's mouths. I guess because I don't like Paul I must be an Obama fan? No, I just don't plan on casting a vote for President this year.

To address your other comment - while Santorum and Huckabee certainly have different beliefs, the comparison is that they're both social conservatives who never met a spending bill they didn't like.

What we're facing is essentially a repeat of the 2008 primaries. Instead of McCain/Huckabee, it's Romney/Santorum. Same ideas, different names.

The GOP 'leadership' all need to be thrown out.

Notice that the ultra-compassionate, hyper-concerned about poverty, leftist audience (and Maher himself) see no problem with mocking the homeless to protect their movement.

Woah, woah, woah - it's ok, folks. Remember, this guy is a liberal, and only conservatives are capable of bigotry. Nothing to see here, move along.

Whatever happened to Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment?

I'm not much more a fan of Gingrich than I am Christie (although I'd vote for Gingrich), but talk about your circular firing squad.

The GOP really is the party of stupid - much of the leadership, at least. We can't possibly let those filthy peasants have even a moderately conservative candidate, dear no. Anything to promote Democrat-Lite.

I suppose the establishment GOP believes they can get their favored candidate in office because of their belief that anybody can beat Obama, but I wonder if we're going to see a repeat of the Bush/Kerry election, with the roles reversed.

14th Amendment? Hah! Our royal person has no need of it.

Don't forget how, after enough signatures were collected to begin the recall of a couple Wisconsin Democratic state senators... the place they were stored was firebombed.

Sadly, the media ignored that particular story. Not that anyone here should be surprised.
