I'm from the UK, and I didn't know that. I guess it makes sense then. Thanks for clearing that up.

I have no ethical problem with adverts or the products advertised. (Actually, it's great you can get money advertising relevant products.) But he does sound like a salesman. It's just jarring to me the way he goes from host to advertiser.

Btw, I didn't not like it before. I started listening since the show Jeff Gerstmann was on.

I'm starting to like TWiT. But the host-doing-the-adverts thing is weird. I've got to trust him one moment, then snap out of it for a second.

Hehe. Thanks. :) Although I think someone in the podcast said it.

Did they withhold something they had ready to fit on the disc, or did they just have it planned to be finished after release?

Ah. I thought by "meat" you meant size, or length. I disagree that the production wasn't spectacular. It's technically very simple, but they use a lot of subtle visual and sound effects. I feel more engaged with this than I did in Alan Wake or Red Dead Redemption (two great games I've played recently).

If the mechanics didn't appeal to you at all, then you probably shouldn't buy it at any price.

Apart from the coming robot apocalypse, Dickensian poverty on the Citadel, legitimised slavery on Illium, racial tension.... Yeah, it's great. I'm a massive nerd.

A hooker probably costs a lot more per minute but could be quite satisfying. I expect. And Too Human could be better value than Braid if length is important.

Apart from quality and length, the value calculation should take into account the time, effort, and resources taken to make it. Limbo is chizzled to near-perfection. I feel more ripped off when I buy FIFA with minimal changes over the last game.

I looked but couldn't find the Rebel FM app they were playing with. Fortunately they just posted it on their Facebook page. It's worth joining their group http://www.facebook.com/#!/rebelfm for links like this.

Here it is: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http://itun...

I seem to have accidentally deleted my comment instead of editing it.
I originally said I was enjoying it, so I'll continue covering it until it becomes inappropriate. Also, I like the way they work as a group and their irrelevant (to games) letters section. Even if that's exactly what some people don't like. They've dialled back the toilet humour too.
