Personally I comment for entertainment purposes, not to debate. I also do not give thumbs down. By using the term "you guys" I assume you have me pegged into some sort of demographic or stereotypical group. I base my comments on common sense not party affiliation. I do not have the time to spend hours here commenting on the same comments over and over again. The subject matter is sometimes too complex to nail down in a few comments. So I will just leave you with your opinion and I will keep mine.

This time all that Government spending did, was bail out Wall street and keep Government workers employed. Government workers do not create or produce anything tangible to grow the economy, the opposite is true. So while the spending has kept the country from total collapse for now, it can't go on forever. This is why Europe is so important, if they fail, we fail.

It was the war. FDR's new deal was a failure. Government can't spend it''s way to prosperity.

So what is used at a gay/lesbian wedding that is not used during a normal wedding?

The Washington state Committee on Geographic Names is a committee governed by DNR. State Government has a lot of committees with long names and questionable duties. I suspect they are all part of the State Worker Job Justification Program :).

What an utterly big waste of time. Clearly the DNR has too much of our money.

I did not include blaming Government in this comment, but you bring up an interesting point. Lately, more times than not, because of Government incompetence they no longer have the ability to protect the community.
As for the first part of your comment, comparing environmental pollution or cigarettes to jumping on trampolines is kind of silly.
Accidents happen and unless there is clear negligence I believe suing the company for Junior breaking his leg is frivolous.
If you swim you could drown.
If you sky dive your shoot may not open.
If you rock climb the fall may kill you.
There are inherent risks to life, it is not always some one else's fault.
