I ended up purchasing a half gallon (actually 1.75 liters) of Black Velvet for about $15.00, which was around the price I paid for a fifth at state stores. They weren't around when the store front windows were being smashed. A few came on their little bikes after the damage was done, and didn't seem to apprehend any of them. Day late and a dollar short. This is disappointing after what happened at the WTO, which was the same thing. They need to be out in heavy force and positioned strategically along the store fronts. Some need to be on horse back equipped with tasers, night sticks, and billy-clubs to knock some heads. A strong response like that will go a long ways to prevent this thing happening in the future. Those POS vandals will think twice before they join in on any future marches. They need to fear arrests, and possibly some physical pain as a deterrant. The SDP will need to review their performance thoroughly and come up with some answers as to what went wrong, and how to improve their performance in the future.
