The courts did not agree. And fortunately it's their decision we go by when deciding matters of law and not that of hysterical internet loons.

We were so lucky that the our animal wardens identified Lennox as a danger to the public. This case shows residential areas just aren't the place for potential child shredders.

If you're minded to own a dog, pick one appropriate to your domestic situation or move. Simples!

Lennox was an animal. The concept of guilt or innocence could not in the legal sense be applied to it.

It was dangerous. It was humanely destroyed in accordance with our laws and that's where the story ends.

And I can promise you that in the UK at least it is popular legislation.

I do not, personally, agree with it. But campaigning to end it is a hiding to nowhere.

Another good job by our anmial wardens.

Shame they did not manage to catch this one before it hurt a child.

Just goes to show how lucky we are that the temperament of the Barnes illegal attack dog was discovered before it managed injure anyone.
