The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) has made the right decision here, but only just. Such is the delicate balance of things right now all aorund the world and especially in regards to the Holy Land. The geometries are really swirling. We need more connection and trust building right now not less. The model for the Holy Land and region is one of trade and economic co-operation. So boycotting one section of the area may actually backfire on other areas, such is the inter-connectedness of things. It is all about perspective. The BDS people see the universe as win/lose so rationalise their boycott campaigns as of helping the Palestinians when this is not the truth.

This report is bull****. Sounds like a false report designed to drum up support for outside military intervention or a no fly zone. All the parties must do a 180 degree u-turn and reject violence as a tool to achieve their ends. The GDP of Syria can grow by more than 5% p.a. from 2013 onwards if stability prevails.
