Lazy? Why won't they take them in the blue boxes then? We make an effort to shop at places that don't charge this rip off fee, small as it is, it's the principle. And besides, what do we pick up dog poo with when away from a shovel and pail lined with a plastic bag? Plastic doggie poo bags that you pay 40 cents each for? Plastic should be recycled in house, too bad it's so expensive currently, so we're sending all that plastic on barges to some third world country for workers to work in toxic environments for pennies a day ... how is that being 'earth friendly again'?

Hm wonder if 'street' people and criminals get faster medical treatment then the rest of us waiting months and months on lists. Street people tent to be younger and their medical needs are self inflicted and due to life on the street, life threatening or otherwise. They also present the most energy sucking as they are 'hard' to deal with in any situation they are in, endlessly exhausing our emergency services for often nothing more than a self indulged bing of whatever the drug they are on, and usually in need of instant and or prolonged medical resources and attention. They'll never be taxpayers or very few will. You'll be seeing it differently when someone you love dies of cancer who had been placed on a 'waiting list' for nine months.

NOT a huge exageration at all. Any anglophone that moves to QC, say by marriage, they will not be entitled to French language courses like any other new 'immigrant' resident. These 'invited' ones get a three year course and day care if you are a mother with children..which is good, but why are just Canadians excluded? We, the ROC are uninvited to reside in QC and that's obvious for sure. Try getting essential services off the island if you don't speak French, you'll be outright denied as was in my case. Not surprised that this blantent racism is allowed by the Mowhawks of QC, they're just following along with the political tone of the province. Been there, done that, never again.

It's not about "hate" it's about defending the right to live and be free. AND that's for us all. IF someone plans to kill you, your whole family, and does so, wether they actually hate you or not is irrelevant if they mass murder and get away with it. Wouldn't you want that to not happen? Calling it hate for us to call the murderers on their intentions/actions is not being intellectually honest, JMO. Your "antidote" speak is NOT scientific evidence. What 'elders' are you talking about specifically? Name the region exactly where you are or at least the Band's name? If you're speaking from the James Bay regions and speak to the elders can you ask them to encourage the First Nations folks to not to leave their broken down vehicles all over the place? Stop putting broken down cars and snowmachines on the ice to have them sink out of sight come spring...thanks that'd be great. See up around Herst Ont, it isn't showing any signs of 'warming' during the last ten years of ice fishing, what-so-ever. Most of the trappers/guides around here claim that the summers have been very cool compared to the '80's. You'd think that wouldn't be so, given it's even more south than your claims of -just south of the Arctic circle where the 'elders' know this and the 'elders' know that ...as you earlier stated. One souther polar expedition resulted in the 'environmentalists' deaths because they froze to death. How come this year the ice breakers had to work all summer long up in the northern seaways of Canada? And what happened to the that British expedition to the North this last summer and their so called proof of the ice melting or thinning or what have you... They became frozen in solid and had to be rescued from the crushing ice and well below zero temps on either temperature scale. Those that actually live off the land are the true stewards of the land, those that are paid just to live on the land, tend to abuse it. And I'm not a BUD. I didn't use any derogatory lable on you, but you couldn't resist, eh kcm...sad.
