I have spoken to a "Hillary Girl" that worked in her Wash DC campaign office. They felt cheated and they hate Obama.

Fimmakers simply need to stay completely away from politics. When they try to spin their own particular political viewpoint into history, they inevitably mess it up. Storykeeper has it right. it doesn't matter to the progs, they will re-assign the funding here and then scream later that the children are starving and we need to pony up more dough to keep the program going. they are very transparent.
This is also a tried and true prog strategy, FDR used it all the time to win four elections. If the state ( or demographic if you will) is solidly in your win column, you don't waste resources there, you move on and use your campaign ( read patronage dollars here ) dollars where you really need them. Nothing new under the sun. they've been using the same playbook for 100 years. We are just now catching on.
