yeah I know, our success just relies on the lineup being able to get the "window dressed" square uppercut when RISP. The Mets get many runners on the pond on 2nd and 3rd granted their are two outs but plenty of times the bats fell short over the couple of games. Once the team clicks offensively then the Mets will win many games even with a weak start from anyone else other than Santana.

Putz arm strength showed today, he consistently threw his 4seam between 95-97 and his splitter was so filthy it dropped off the table, I can't wait until this bullpen gets into mid season form along with the line up.

Figueroa isn't really impressive to me, he throws 5 different pitches but none of them are +. On the other hand, he had a good WBC and ST I just don't really get excited to see this guy on the mound, I hope he does very well.

It doesn't seem like that to me, David had a couple of good at bats last night, most of the time they try to get him to chase the outside tight slider but he only bit at that pitch once tonight in the first inning.
