<title>Single Dad Laughing : How much did YOUR kid cost?</title>
<link>http://www.danoah.com/2010/09/how-much-did-your-kid-cost.html#IDComment128362052</link>
<description>I am an adoptive parent as well and we did transracial adoption so its pretty apparent that I adopted so I hear stupid comments like this ALL.THE.TIME and it drives me bananas! I hear &amp;quot;Where did you get her?&amp;quot; all the time and most recently I was told to be thankful that I got to become a mom the &amp;quot;easy&amp;quot; way. I&amp;#039;m lucky to have not ended up in jail that day :) My recent post &lt;a href=&quot;http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/ANewKindOfNormalLivingAnAbundantLifeWithChronicIllness\/~3\/sZXygt89lzc\/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Breathe of Fresh Air&lt;/a&gt; </description>

<title>http://meganswishingwell.blogspot.com/ : Are You Gluten-Free? I Want To Talk To You.</title>
<link>http://meganswishingwell.blogspot.com/2010/08/are-you-gluten-free-i-want-to-talk-to.html#IDComment96791448</link>
<description>I&amp;#039;ve been GL since May (when my Celiac was confirmed). I started off by reading &amp;quot; The G-Free Diet&amp;quot; by Elizabeth Hasselbeck and loved it! She provides a ton of resources! I live in the sticks and can only dream of being near a 100% GF store! But thankfully if I head to town the bigger grocery has a half aisle dedicated to GF products but I agree it can get REALLY expensive! I love UDI&amp;#039;s bread and am so jealous of the muffins in your picture! Amy&amp;#039;s Kitchen has some frozen meals which are nice to keep on hand (the GF mac &amp;amp; cheese is seriously amazing). There are a lot of online places to shop but it sounds like you&amp;#039;ve got quite a variety nearby. Right after I was diagnosed, I met with a GF dietitian who gave me tons of great resources if you would like me to pass them along to you! As far as beauty products, its up in the air about whether or not it makes a difference but I did check to see if mine are GF and for the most part they are. The only thing is that I can&amp;#039;t find a decent hair spray without wheat protien (which of course is what gives it its staying power) and I know that I inhale that so I&amp;#039;m trying to look for other options that are GF! My email is anewkindofnormal at gmail dot com if you want those resources!
