I like lavender for the bedroom and aloe-scented lotion for my skin. The lavender is very soothing and the aloe is invigorating.
My bed sheets are a tone that is pulled from one of the colors in the comforter but my pillow cases (four pillows) are two different colors that match the comforter. The bedroom is not very formal so the colors blend well.
Being of Italian decent, I would have to say Italy. I love the nature-loving colors in a lot of their designs.
Coop, does anyone know who won the Oscillations artwork from Carrie McGee at the GH site? I e-mailed them for the winner as per the instructions on that site but never received an answer. Does anyone have a way of finding out? Thanks for your input.
This Lavender Dreams pattern is just beautiful and the curtain panel would look great in my bedroom with it's green and purple theme.
Did anyone ever learn who won the Oscillations hanging by Carrie McGee from the 2010 Green Home sweepstakes? I emailed them (per the website directions to find out who won) and never got a response. Why would they wait so long to announce the winner? Just wondering.
I prefer Old World like the Biltmore and have decorated my home in mostly darker woods like cherry, walnut and pine. A room in my home is painted in the background color of the Dining Chair print and it would look great hanging on the wall it that room.
Living in a 900 sf ranch, I'm always looking for narrow end tables for the living room to place on either side of the love seat because the room has two windows and three doorways with not much wall space.
