Thomas D, The very thing the libs are doing right now! Anyone that disagrees with Obama, I mean Soetoro, is labeled a racist and the sad thing is that they go along with or apologized or modify their comments in some way instead of standing up for themselves. Being Hispanic, I don't suffer from White Guilt. If any lib calls me a racist for disagreeing with Barry, I'll spit in his eye. I think it's time we Conservatives stop apologizing for being Conservative. And if the liberals don't like that, well I have two words for them!

Bill, You're so right. The main stream media or the drive-by media as Rush calls it pushed Obama into the White House. The vote was very close and if it wasn't for the overwhelming media coverage that he was getting he would have lost. Moreover, McCain contributed to his loss by running a lame campaign. But Conservatives already knew that McCain is not one of us. You can say that McCain is Republican Lite, not quite liberal but not quite Conservative.

The main stream media or the drive by media as Rush calls it pushed Obama into the whitye house the vote was very close and if it wasn't for the overwhelming media coverage that he was getting he would have lost. smrstrauss, according to the link you posted Obama has NOT produced his birth certificate. The post says "a Hawaiian official has confirmed she has "personally seen and verified" that the state "has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate". Which official? Why hasn't the name of this "official" been disclosed? Why hasn't Obama produced a birth certificate and other birth records? Why has Obama's own grandmother stated that Obama was born in Kenya? As for the Wall Street Journal claiming that "As the Wall Street Journal commented: "Obama has already provided a legal birth certificate demonstrating that he was born in Hawaii," they are wrong. What Obama produced was a short form birth certificate which is NOT legal proof of birth, not even in Hawaii where it was issued. Link And as for the myths about no lawsuits see this Link. Thomas, it seems that you believe that the Constitution should be interpreted according the original intents’ of those that wrote it and voted for it namely the Founding Fathers. That makes you an “Originalist” just like me and many others. It good to see you appealing to values and beliefs, these are very important as they dictate the decision you make through out your life. Therefore, decisions you make are only as good as the values and beliefs you hold. In other words, bad values and beliefs produce bad decisions. Unfortunately, this is little understood today. We, as Conservatives need to make others aware of the bad influences affecting the main stream media. It is time to shine the spotlight in those dark corners of the Fifth Estate.

Great comment Thomas, I agree the media is giving a pass on all the shady stuff that Obama is involved in. However, the media went on a witch hunt for "W” and other Republicans and burned "W" on the stake. I think that Conservatives like us should hold a magnifying glass to the main steam media and start exposing all the shady stuff going on with them. The main stream media has been under the control of socialist, communists and other radical left wingers for decades. If you look back and closely examine their reports you’ll start to see a left ward slant which has grown increasing bolder over time. Senator, Joseph McCarthy might have been getting too close to exposing the main stream media for what they really are when they conspired to “bring him down”. Perhaps a second, more critical examination, of the main stream media is in order!
