I too am not a fan of crowdsourcing outright because of the "winner" effect, that often yields nothing in the way of reward at the end. While I'm impressed OFTEN by the trials and sample art that will be offered inside the design realm for things like this, it's a tough concept to get behind as an artist. Thanks for a thought-provoking take on this one, Dave.

SPOILERS herein, folks!

I've been honored to be accepted as a writer for ScreenRant.Com recently and recently at the San Diego Comic-Con there, in their break-away-from-filming glory, WERE THE CAST OF "24!"

Read on for more and I look forward to reading the feedback!

I can't express strongly enough how much I wanted this movie to be a good and positive add-on to the franchise. As we arrived into the latter-midpoint of the film, and in came John Connor setting off on his own (because of course all saviors of humankind do that), the wheels came off the train and something was created that netted TERMINATOR: Salvation a 5/10 in our review (2guystalking.com) for me.

I loved the effects. I loved the look of the film. I HATED the "whiteroom/exposition" scene with a white hot hate. I (who I usually love Michael Ironsides) HATED Michael Ironsides in this movie. I hate the VAST RESISTANCE ARMY of unlimited Ospreys, A-10 Warthogs, helicopters and munitions of all kinds and top the sundae off with a little silent cherry in the visage of a child named "Star" that when removed from script in all our imaginations, nothing changes. Add in a tent-based, outdoor heart transplant from Katey Brewster, the pregnant veterinarian and you have something that fate didn't make - a hollywood formulaic scriptwriter did.

No McG hate here at all. This was a writer's problem to be sure.

A stark reality arrives not in the form of another hybrid TERMINATOR, but that we must now wait another 2+ years for a movie I fear may never be greenlit.

We're going to be reviewing the last two hours this evening in our recorded "24Podcast" and I'll be sure to stop back by and toss a link through. I really enjoyed your review because - frankly - it's too easy to say "the season redeemed itself". Is this a BETTER season than last? Without question. Were there still hopes, failures and "what ifs?" Absolutely. i look forward to more spirited debate as we go along and thanks for the review! The 2 Guys at 24Podcast.Com
