you obviously know very little about north korea if you think bush played it right!!!! they fostered confrontation, and made relations between the North and South much harder than they should have (rather than promoting integration between the two koreas). Further, North Korea begged bush to officially end the korean war and promote stability by reducing troops on the border and declaring that the USA did not intend to attack the north, but flatly refused all these issues. Instead, he provoked more confrontation and instability. This is just the tip of the ice berg where Korean relations are concerned! So get some damn sense if you think bush did a good job on Korea. read the paper one, why dont you? or, at the very least, shut up about things you have no idea about...

"But the sketchy details provided by the White House make it hard to assess how serious or advanced the plans were." Furthermore, the person making the claim is George Bush himself. I have no doubt that there are crazies that want to ruin America's shit. However, I highly highly super highly doubt that there is a terrorist group capable of pulling off a bio, chemical, or nuclear attack on the United States any time soon. The people we are bombing are armed with world war 2 era weaponry.... they run around with AK's and RPG's firing into the sky in the vain hope of hitting a bomber plane 1 mile in the sky with only sandals for footwear. ...(slightly exaggerated but you get the point)

Kennedy International Airport, kill thousands of people and trigger an economic catastrophe by blowing up a jet fuel artery that runs through populous residential neighborhoods? Why did George Bush make Fawzi Assi, a former Ford engineer, plead guilty to providing support for a designated Mideast terrorist group and go to prison for 10 years How did Bush send seven members of a terror cell run by al-Qaeda "general" Dhiren Barot to jail for a total of 136 years? How did Bush catch 6 foreign-born "Islamic militants" plotting to attack Fort Dix army base in the US state of New Jersey? How did Bush catch Abdullah al-Mujahir, Jose Padilla? This is on top of the fact that Bush and his friends lied to the American people for 8 years straight. Bush and his administration are not credible and honest sources for information. Looking at some of the examples you cited above, its clear to see that many of them were not real threats to American security. Almost all the convictions were based on conspiracy which was derived from hearsay, or not directly related to a terrorist plot against the United States whatsoever. For example you cited the case of Fawzi Assi. This man was convicted of giving money to the U.S Listed Terrorist Group Hezbollah. According to the United States and Israel, Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. HOWEVER, Hezbollah was not planning any attacks on the United States or American citizens abroad, nor was the man Fawzi Assi planning a terrorist attack. Rather, he was arrested for giving money to a group that it is illegal to give money to. He was punished for that, end of story. Bush has only made the world more dangerous for America, there is no denying that.
