O(b Log N): N-tier open source dad 2.0 and software punk / Welcome to the future

Dan Keldsen - Aaron - Uh oh, exercise and re-wiring the brain? That might actually get me to get off my keister and exercise! :) I can't see running a full marathon - although my sister-in-law ran the NYC Marathon in 2008, and had a heck of an experience. Regardless of what you attempt, exercise is good for the brain - heck, in our line of work, the brain is a pretty important muscle to exercise, eh? Ciao, Dan

Donating $160 to Grameen as a result of the increased followers, and promise not to twitter spam you to death post-experiment. Happy New Year's to all of you, and let's see what we can collectively make happen in 2009, eh?

Roughly 24 hours left folks, please re-tweet, and let's work this social capital into a frenzy, eh?
BizTechTalk / BizTechTalk Briefs 12/23/2008

Dan Keldsen - Dave - Thanks for the props, and feedback. Hmm - well, I'll turn it around on you. What would be the appropriate markers in the subject? The general idea of the BizTechTalk Briefs is that they are roll-ups of social bookmarks I'm making. If it's just one, then not that big a deal, but when I'm publishing multiples (automatically, once a day, via Diigo), then, not so simple. Thoughts? (from anyone?) Sidenote - I'm just fired up that I have this working again at all. Makes it much easier to bridge the gap between the twitter-stream and "real" (long) blog posts. But I'm all for improving readability/usability, so hit me folks!

As a company of two - we can use all the magnification we can get, so please spread the word!

(IAI)

Dan Keldsen - Thanks Sam - quite a lot of work to do, both in "traditional" IA terms, and in what we hope will spawn a new level of discussion. Thanks for popping on over. Structured and unstructured information has a long way to go as well - and certainly see that as part of the overall architecture that a business should put in place. Information, content, data, knowledge - call it what you will, if it's important to the business, it needs to be built for a reason or reasons, and made as fluid and flexible as possible. The race belongs to the swift! BTW - you might want to go back and edit your comment, it has the wrong URL - should be http://info-architecture.blogspot.com/- correct? (you have *.blogpost.*) Cheers, Dan

Well, it's been far too long since we last ran into each other - come on down to Boston from time to time, eh? ;) Hope you're doing well, and thanks for the note. And Carl is old? I thought "Boomer" signified loudness! (said the Danish-American about the Italian-American, it's all relative) Ciao, Dan

That's been my suspicion as well, but like most of my experiments, we'll only find out as the experiment unfolds! (I suspect I should thank my father, a now retired organic chemistry professor, for putting the scientific method firmly in my head, eh?) And we definitely need to catch up - sometime soon. Happy holidays to you and yours.

In an uncertain world, there needs to be a few of us crazy people who are jumping into to create something new, eh? There's never a PERFECT time to start a new company, so why not now?
