Mr Business Golf / Will Golf Change?

josh - Mr. BG, Good post and I agree with you. When I think of the golf industry as a whole, I think of two words: bloated and conservative. Bloated in that there are too many courses for the current golfing demand, too many golf clubs, golf swing doodads, etcs. There will be a lot of restructuring, downsizing, and market "corrections" to realign supply with demand. I use the word conservative in the business sense, not political. Old marketing tactics are no longer giving the ROI the might have once given. There are certainly opportunities abounding for people with good ideas as the old companies meet new challenges aspiring entrepreneurs can capitalize on.

IntenseDebate Blog / IntenseDebate is Back!

josh - Hi Donnacha, All good points. Im am sure the ID guys are listening. One thing I would add is that it isn't good for anyone if someone just comments for a link. There has to be a way to balance inspiring good comments and discouraging commenting just for the link. Again, all good point. I think you will see ID continue to experiment with different interfaces. The publisher has quite a bit of control over how things are displayed on their site, so maybe your suggestion could be made into an option for the blog publisher in the future. Cheers!
