That's not a bad idea. However, some say that you should disconnect your battery when using your laptop for an extended period of time and rely instead on a UPS. The point is to try to save the laptop battery (which is more important and more expensive) and rely instead on the UPS which is more resilient and cheaper. Personally, I use a UPS. I recommend APC.

i had the same thing happen to me and I work from home on my computer and I was down for a few hours also. So I went out and got a back up system and tried to be prepared if it happens again. A new Laptop witha independent battery as a backup is part of my master plan

Hi there, I highly doubt that a plain Blogger template can work with Gravatar because there is no way in Blogger to enter your email address. But the email is key to get your Gravatr. Could you pls show us the template where this is supposed to work? I hope that you can prove me wrong ;-)

If by "native skills" you're referring to language skills, I beg to differ. You can still acquire good language skills to the point of equivalence to a native speaker, depending usually on how old you were when you learned the foreign language. Even if you retain an accent, you can stilll be a good debater. It's only more difficult, but, nonetheless, doable.

Public speaking relies a lot on natural talent and the education you receive in your first years of life. Even if debating has its rules and it can pretty much develop your skills, without native skills you won't really go that far.
