I have performed his music along with others like Bob Dylan and John Denver in my travels with music. Never was much of a mechanical note person but a person that relates from the heart and truth to perform to the audience. This in my opinion is what captures and audience. I have sung opera, jazz and rock tunes to please the audience but it was not performing. A performer has to be himself in order to convey a real captive message. Neil Diamond has done this. Thank you Neil. I was unable to catch your last concert in Phoenix so the tickets were never used due to a family matter. My wife bought them for a birthday present and because we did not go she will not buy tickets again.
