ehlenfeld - Forming the Renaissance Preparation Committee

As you have said is some of your newsletters, most feel powerless to change anything, especially when they feel as though the game is overwhelmingly stacked against them. I hear this reason a lot as to why people just don't get involved. I used to be distracted by all the problems that this country faces until I realized that all of them could be traced back to one main problem and that is, as you've said so many times before, until money is removed from politics nothing will ever change. The obvious question then is how do we as common citizens with limited resources take on corporate giants with millions of dollars? How do we fight this? I have some idea from your other newsletters but I guess I need something definitive and specific so that we can empower the people. Have I missed something from one of your newsletters or just not understood what you have tried to communicate?

This letter is typical Dylan Ratigan and always breath of fresh air especially in this stagnant political environment we currently are stuck in. I've always supported getting the money out of politics which this addresses but it also points out that when it comes to the election process we basically go in with blinders, a tunnel vision of either Democrats or Republicans because even the media does not cater to any other party. To the average US Citizens, the answers are as plane as the nose on our faces. Washington seems to have trouble seeing the trees because of the forest. It's obvious, a time for change is upon us-actually we should have started decades ago. Dylan's viewpoint is one I sorely miss yet I understand, I believe, why he left MSNBC.

Thirty percent of the food served in school meals are purchased from family farmers in the same local area as the school, thus eliminating the middlemen. This guarantees meals for school-age children/teens and improves the lives of 4.3 million small farmers. Perhaps, in the not too distant future, Archi's Acres could help to advocate for such a program here in the U.S.

It puts returning veterans to work and helps them build equity in a profitable venture, it serves our environmental needs, and so much more. Congratulations to Whole Foods for becoming a partner in this and to Dylan of joining forces with the vets. This is great work, and has implications far beyond our national borders.
