Hmm not sure how that happened. I can't do anything about this since the commenting system belongs to intensedebate.com. Unless you have an account there, and you specified notifications with your intense debate account, I don't see how you can manage your notifications :(

When I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked on the -Notify
me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I recieve four emails with the exact same comment.
Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service?

Cool post, I'm trying to do the exact same thing but I'm hoping to accomplish everything at the router - cisco 3640 with 3 ethernet ports, 1 for each ISP and 1 for the LAN. The router supports basic 'load balancing' but I need a way to choose the faster link at a given moment. Have you gotten into that?

I too am using NoSpamNX. What I'd really like though is a plugin that prevents the bots from accessing the site in the first place instead of blocking them after they submit a comment. I wonder if that's even technically possible - like perhaps checking for javascript or something. As of now a bot downloads the page, sends it back, and uses resources on the server. I wonder if we can stop them before that itself. I tried installed "Bad Behavior", but it hardly stopped anything. Till then, NoSpamNX it is!
