I am visiting from Africa, and having watched Emmerdale, East Enders and Coronation Street. why don't they just combine all three shows and export it to Pakistan? im living in japan. i worked for an international school run by muslims. we couldnt have a christmas party, had to call it a winter party and no funding from the school went towards it...the following year there was no winter party at all, but there was a ramadan party cause the manager thought it would be a good experiance for the children...lol ok kids lets all starve ourselves!! not for me, how can i find a group or place to take a more active role in this fight? there are many pro radical groups easily found on the net, cant find any anti ones, although i found this site.

Imperial System - Metrication and the Guillotine

I DESPISE the metric system. I wouldn't mind so much if the government gave the people of this country the legal OPTION to use either system. The manufacturers etc,would then have to display their services/products in both systems. This way allows everyone to use the weights/measurements system they wish. I am sick and tired of having to convert this metric CRAP into my language i.e. English. It has gotten to the point were I have to take off labels from products I buy, cut the metric section off or transfer their contents to containers using my beloved Imperial. It's also gotten to the stage that if I see a product in a shop displaying the Imperial system then I have the tendency to purchase it simply because the manufacturer has put the system on it's product/s. This brings me to my next point. The Imperial System was invented by the English in the 19th century, so it is my English birthright to use it. If this country is so metric then why do we still use Miles per hour speed signs, inches for t.v. screen sizes, fluid ounces still shown on most perfumes. Pints present on various containers of milk. Do the milk floats I see still deliver the daily "pinter" in the mornings? Pounds/ounces on certain brands of boxes of chocolates. Still speak the English language etc, etc. If using Imperial is so unENGLISH, so UNLAWFUL then why is it still allowed? Why do we always have to do has Europe says, if we are so European then why do we still drive on the left side of the road? If we are so European then why do we use Pounds Sterling? So Europe then why do we still use British measurements for clothing (sizes 10-12,14-16) etc. Shoes in sizes 3,4 and so on and so forth. England's invention, Britain's Mother-tongue is the English language, Imperial System is English, it's not rocket science!!!

Sorry to see the site close GA, it has been the first visit everyday since finding it and has been brilliant in waking up many to what is happening in our country. It has always been a great place to find articles and news to show others so they can see for themselves what we are up against. Hopefully we will see the return of the green arrow at some point as I am sure it will be greatly missed and so will the truth it exposed. I wish you good luck and must say thank'you to all who made this site what it was , including the commenter's , enjoy your break as I'm sure it wont last too long , if your not here you'l be working for the same goal elsewhere.
